Once you`ve received a scholarship, the first thing you need to do is count your lucky stars. Don`t even try to rationalize that you deserve the scholarship, because honestly, you don`t. Winning the scholarship simply means that you meet all the criteria that scholarship positions are looking for. I`m sure there are many other smarter people who just don`t meet the scholarship criteria. Now, don`t try to misinterpret this by saying that I`m not grateful for the opportunity to study abroad that the scholarship offers. The fact is that I can`t be grateful enough for this opportunity. I would have had a very different life and I wouldn`t have been able to broaden my horizons, meet all the interesting people in London and travel a lot around the world without the scholarship.
