As stated in this GMA, ATR will manage all aspects of the maintenance and repair of certain equipment in the airline`s “-600” ATR fleet. This equipment includes LRU (Line Replaceable Units), propeller blades and landing gear. With the conclusion of the agreement, ATR LIAT guarantees the permanent availability of these spare parts from its logistics center in Miami. The airline will also benefit from ATR`s expertise for all of its maintenance procedures. An ATR is a certificate for the movement of goods between the European Union and Turkey. An ATR certificate is a customs document that can be used in trade between EU countries and Turkey.
